Quality Education – I aim to use technology to assist in the provision of quality education. Growing up in Tanzania, I experienced a lack of access to quality higher education. Before graduating from high school, I wanted to study animation, but no such schools existed in Tanzania. My second choice was computer science, but even the largest public university lacked qualified instructors, and students often had to teach themselves programming after graduation.
This experience shaped my commitment to improving educational access through technology. And it is supported by my contribution to work on open educational resources.
